We created this extensive redesign for Avatar’s website, taking their established universe and giving it an updated look. As a member of the Project C team, I built the wireframes for both desktop and mobile in Figma, and then expanded upon those with visual design, illustrated icons, and custom graphics - all structured to work within a content management system. The site now serves as a massive hub for all things Avatar!
I illustrated the site icons which were inspired by the objects, markings, and creatures of Pandora. Ultimately these went on to be used as decorative elements for block quotes and ornate dividers throughout the site.
As our team designed and developed the site more thoroughly, I assisted with visual design and worked alongside developers to ensure all assets were ready and easy-to-implement. Designing the Community page was especially fun - this unique site feature encourages visitors to ‘Learn Na’vi’ through embedded pronunciation tracks.
